   Hi! It was nice to chance upon your blog! 🙂
   We’re actually planning to do Oslob-Siquijor tour unfortunately for 3D and 2N only. We wonder if we can visit Tumalog Falls, Sumilon sandbar and Whaleshark watching at Oslob then at Siquijor try to take a visit at Salagdoon beach and manjuyod sandbar then back to Cebu on where we’ll depart.    Hi! Yes, you can easily visit Tumalog Falls and Sumilon sandbar after whale shark watching in Oslob since both are just a few minutes away from the whale shark watching site. Please note though that Sumilon Island is home to an exclusive resort, the Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort that we went to. To visit the sandbar, you only have 2 options: 1) avail of the resort’s day tour package like we did, w/c includes the ferry transfers from Oslob to the island and lunch or 2) rent a boat from Oslob to take you to the sandbar. If you rent a boat, you can only stay at the sandbar itself and you won’t be permitted to enter the resort. That means you’ll have to bring your own food if you plan to stay long. Also, there are huge waves going to Sumilon Island, so it’s best that you rent a big boat.

   About going to Siquijor from Oslob, I’m not sure if there are still ferries operating right now from Liloan port (Oslob) to Larena port (Siquijor). The really best way to go to Siquijor is through Dumaguete, which is a one-hour ferry ride away to Siquijor.

   Lastly, Manjuyod Sandbar is in Negros Oriental, a municipality that’s one hour away from Dumaguete City, so again, you can only easily visit if you’re coming from Dumaguete. If your only IT in Cebu is Oslob, it’s better that you fly and stay in Dumaguete instead and take a day tour to Siquijor, Oslob and Manjuyod like we did. Oslob is a 3-hr bus ride away from Cebu City/airport as opposed to Dumaguete, which is just a one-hour ferry ride away (actually even less than hour).

   Hiiiii!! Thank you for sharing your experience. If it’s not too much to ask, can you also share your itinerary with us? Planning to visit Dumaguete, Siquijor and Oslob also but I do not know where to start. LOL. Thank you so much!!!!

      Hi. Here’s a rough IT of our trip, since I don’t specifically remember everything 😀 Day 1 – flight from Manila to Dumaguete, our arrival time then was around 4pm. Explored tourist attractions in the city such as Siliman University. Visited Rizal Blvd at night. These are all walking distance from our hotel located in the city center
      Day 2 – morning: visited Apo Island
      After lunch: visited Manjuyod sandbar in Bais. Went back to Dumaguete City in the evening
      Day 3: early morning: boat ride to Oslob. Upon arrival, proceeded to whale watching site, w/c lasts for 30 mins only
      After whale watching, headed to Sumilon Island Resort for day tour.
      Headed back to Dumaguete around 5pm
      Day 4: early am: boat ride to Siquijor
      Upon arrival, halfday city tour via tricycle: Enchanted balete tree, Cambugahay falls, salagdoong beach
      Went back to Dumaguete in the afternoon to catch our flight back to Mla. However our flight was cancelled due to bad weather, so we had an extra day, w/c we used to try the various restaurants in the area. Sans Rival Cakes & Pastries is a must-try for their silvanas.

   Planning to do a Dumaguete-Siquijor trip with my friend and I’m surprised it is possible for a side trip in Oslob. Can you give a rough estimate on how much was your expenses? 😀

      hi. the total amount of expenses I computed/anticipated before the trip was 7k per pax, though the actual amount we spent was probably higher because our trip was extended for another day due to our cancelled flight back to Manila. I have a detailed list for each item that we expected to spend on. If you’re interested, I can send it to you, just let me know how. anyway, thanks for the visit 😀
