Photo Roll: Mt. Pulag Snapshots

So last time I wrote here, I wasn’t sure if I was going to survive Mt. Pulag. Fortunately though, I made it and I’m back with goodies for those of you who are interested in climbing the mountain.

First off: photo teasers.

Here are some of the Mt. Pulag pictures I took during the trip. These are mostly pics at the summit but also included are the sights along the way. I decided not to bring my DSLR because I figured it would be difficult to climb with such a load, and some friends also advised me not to bring it because it might get damaged due to the freezing weather up the mountain.

So making do with what I had, which was an old Olympus point and shoot waterproof/shockproof/freezeproof camera, here are the Mt. Pulag snapshots I managed to take, which hopefully will entice you to climb the mountain as well. 🙂

These are just some of the many amazing sights you’ll see if you climb Mt. Pulag. Though it’s an exhausting and freezing hike up the summit, the rewarding views that await are all worth it.

Next time I’ll tell you all about our Mt. Pulag trip and the things to expect during the climb. 🙂

thanks! we joined a group tour, Yabag Mountaineering. Their package costs 3,500 + 250 per person if you’re going to rent a tent. 🙂
